Foxcombe Woods is about 3 miles from the centre of Oxford city (in southern England) which, is itself, about 60 miles from London. The Nature Reserve is situated between the two hills known as Boars Hill and Foxcombe Hill and is adjacent to the Fox Inn public house / restaurant. Access is via permission through being a member of the Friends of Foxcombe Woods scheme or and organised or pre-arranged visit.
