•All countrymen need vehicular power from time to time, and when they aren't being taxed off the road in misguided and punative tax regimes, the best by far is the Landrover. Stephen has had all sorts of four wheel drive vehicles but the best is the oldest, his 1957 series 1 side-valve landie. •The warden farms many nature conservation sites for such organisations as the Northmoor Trust, Oxford City Council, Oxford Preservation Trust, Natural England, The Woodland Trust. He uses small dexter cattle, some of the hardiest native cattle known. They may be small but they are tough. They also produce the best of all beef (bar none).
